The Modern Guest Room is a guest room which can be built for 1000 simoleons situated on the 2nd Floor Lobby of Strangetown Hotel in The Sims 2. It has a base value (price per night) of 700 simoleons.
It is the joint cheaper guest room to build along with the Jungle Guest Room, whereas the Deluxe Guest Room costs 1500 simoleons to build. The Modern Guest Room has modern architecture, but is more regular looking than the Jungle Guest Room which strays completely from a stereotypical hotel room. Building the Modern Guest Room will increase your hotel score by 8%, the same as the Jungle Guest Room.
