Honest Jackson is a character and the mayor of Strangetown in The Sims 2. He is shown to be kind and cares for the people of Strangetown deeply.
He plays a major role at the start of the game, however, he vanishes from the game upon the arrival of Ava Cadavra due to a bug related to how the game handles the antagonists in the Penthouse.
A bugfix code to prevent Honest Jackson from disappearing and make him return to town permenantly is avaliable on the Action Replay codes page.
His secret is that he has an idea for a romance novel set in ancient Egypt (and has written 7 pages).
